These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the Ancient Awakenings website, bookings, purchases, and participation in retreats, workshops, experiences, and related services. By using this site or making a payment, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the site or book services.

1. Services

Ancient Awakenings offers experiential offerings including retreats, workshops, ceremonies, sessions, and educational content. These are intended for personal growth, reflection, and learning. They are not medical, psychological, or clinical treatment.

2. Eligibility

Participation requires:

• Age 18 or older
• Ability to consent to participation and assume risks
• Timely disclosure of physical or mental health conditions as requested

Ancient Awakenings may refuse participation for safety reasons.

3. Payments

Payments are processed online using Stripe, a third-party payment processor. By making a payment, you agree that transactions will be processed through Stripe under Stripe’s terms and privacy policies, which may change over time and govern aspects of payment processing including refunds, charges, and card information handling.

You must provide accurate billing and payment information, including a valid credit card, debit card, or other accepted payment method. You authorize us and Stripe to charge your chosen payment method for all amounts due.

Prices are in the currency shown at checkout. All amounts are final unless otherwise stated in these Terms.

Stripe processes payments on behalf of Ancient Awakenings. Stripe and its affiliates may collect and process certain data in the course of payment processing. Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share your personal information, including information shared with Stripe. You acknowledge that you have reviewed Stripe’s relevant privacy and terms documents.

We do not store full credit card numbers on our servers. Payments use secure, encrypted connections and meet industry standards for online transaction security.

4. Payment Authorization and Charges

By submitting a payment, you represent that you are entitled to use the payment method and that all information is correct. If a payment is declined, you remain responsible for fees or services booked.

Ancient Awakenings may correct pricing errors, even after payment, and issue refunds as appropriate. Refunds, where offered, are subject to Section 7 below.

6. Refund and Cancellation Policy

Individual Sessions

• Cancellations require written notice at least 48 hours before the scheduled time.
• Late cancellations or no shows may be charged the full session fee.

Retreats and Immersive Experiences

• Deposits are non-refundable.
• Remaining balances may be partially refundable if explicitly stated in retreat-specific terms and accepted in writing.
• Travel costs, external expenses, and third-party booking fees are not refundable.

You are responsible for securing travel insurance that covers personal cancellations, health issues, or travel disruptions.

7. Risk and Assumption

Participation carries inherent risks including physical exertion, emotional discomfort, travel issues, environmental conditions, and personal variability in responses. You voluntarily assume all such risks.

Ancient Awakenings and its facilitators are not liable for injuries, losses, or damages except as required by law.

8. Privacy and Data

Your data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and share information, including data processed by Stripe. You consent to this collection and processing when using our services.

You must also follow all privacy disclosures required by applicable law regarding your use of the site and Stripe’s processing of payment information.

9. Intellectual Property

All content presented on this site or delivered through services belongs to Ancient Awakenings or its licensors. You may not reuse, distribute, or republish without written permission.

10. Conduct

Respectful, lawful behavior is required at all times. Disruptive or unsafe conduct may result in removal without refund.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ancient Awakenings’ liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

12. changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use of the website or services after changes means you accept the new Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction of the State of Texas, where Ancient Awakenings operates.
